The visit was organized as part of a series of country visits in the framework of project that focuses on strengthening coordination and financial capacities of line ministries that is supported by the SAFE trust fund.  

Representatives of the CEF hold meetings with budget directors of three line ministries and Ministry of Finance that presented public financial management reform strategy. After receiving the input, we continued with brainstorming session where we reflected how the financial management functions could be strengthened. Main issues discussed at the meeting considered budget planning, human resources management and budget systems. We consolidated the received input and had a discussion about the good practice and learning needs. 

The CEF Team also attended a back-to-back meeting with officials of the Central Bank.
