CEF Forum 2022: Leaders Will Discuss How Public Institutions Gain from Investments in People and Knowledge
Under the umbrella of the CEF Forum 2022 events we will address the value added of a systematic approach to learning and knowledge sharing within public institutions. This goes in line with our Strategic Direction for 2022–2026 to scale up support to public officials, both as individuals and teams, to shape institutional governance in their respective countries. This way we will together contribute to the development of successful economies and fair societies in the region of South East Europe.
The CEF Forum 2022 will feature a conference Strong Institutions Deliver on Their Mandate, taking place on June 8, 2022, and training of trainers Knowledge Management in Public Institutions. The latter will be delivered as a blended learning event between May 23 and June 10, 2022. The Forum will be also organized back-to-back with the Annual CEF Governing Board meeting.
CEF Forum represents a unique opportunity for ministers of finance, line ministers, governors, Economic Reform Programme coordinators from South East Europe, high-level representatives of the European Commission, and other international organizations to discuss the importance of systematic knowledge management and how it affects the capacity of institutions to deliver on their mandates. The topic will be explored in the context of the implementation of the structural reforms with a special focus on the Economic Reform Programmes of the EU candidate countries and potential candidates.
High-level speakers including Fatmir Besimi, Minister of Finance of North Macedonia, Gent Sejko, Governor of the Bank of Albania, Vladimir Munteanu, First Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Moldova, Maja Handjiska Trendafilova, Director of ReSPA, and others have been invited to share their views on how a smarter engagement of institutional human capital through organizational learning and knowledge ecosystems can accelerate the delivery of the institutions’ mandates.
