Interinstitutional Knowledge Sharing on HRM’s Strategic Role in Public Finance Institutions (By Invitation)

Oct 19 – 22, 2021 Ljubljana, Slovenia No Fee
English

This event provided an opportunity for representatives from Moldovan Ministry of Finance, National Bank of Moldova and State Tax Service to meet their Slovenian counterparts and discuss the strategic role that modern HRM plays in helping institutions achieve their goals.

What will you learn

The overall objective of the study visit was to contribute to strengthening of beneficiary institutions’ capacity to implement appropriate HR strategies to support structural reforms. In line with our mission to help CEF constituency countries institutions become learning organizations themselves, it was our aim to support a peer-to-peer knowledge exchange between Moldovan and Slovenian HR officials working in the public finance domain. In addition to technical topics such as IT systems, talent management and hiring practices, participants also discussed softer aspects of modern HR. For example, they explored various aspects of building and sustaining organizational culture where resilient employees thrive in an ever-changing environment. Influenced by the pandemic, participants also shared lessons from adapting their institutions to the emerging post-pandemic reality. In addition to visiting Slovenian partner institutions, participants also had time to learn about CEF's experience in transforming from a training to a learning organization.
