Through different project activities, our objective will be i) to improve knowledge and experience of the EU accession process acquired by the next generation of public administrators and policy makers in the Western Balkans, who will be in charge of the process and drive and lead future change in their societies and ii) to enhance stronger professional network between young civil servants and between administrations. “Our aim will be to encourage young professionals to step out as emerging leaders of ideas, people, and reforms. So, if you are a public official aged 35 or younger and coming from the Western Balkans, we invite you to join us for new exciting learning opportunities and step out as next-generation leaders and policymakers,” says Jana Repanšek, CEF Director. 

Across the following areas: WeLearn, WeConnect, WeShare, WeExperience, WeWrite, and WeCoach young public professionals will be able to improve knowledge and skills in topics such as policy cycles and reforms in the public sector, managerial accountability and professional and personal integrity, leadership styles and their applications, foresight and complexity management, strategic communications in the public sector, innovations and service delivery, public institutions as learning organizations, participative governance and listening at a bigger scale green and digital transformation and their interrelation with public administration reforms, and gender equality. Additionally, we will pay attention to appropriate learning formats and platforms that will enable networking, peer review, and knowledge exchange.
