Apr 8 – 9, 2025 Podgorica, MNE No Fee
Apr 7, 2025
Montenegrin

Effective communication is perhaps the most important of all life skills. It enables us to pass information to others, and understand what is said to us. For PAR and PFM professionals’ strong communication skills are as important as technical skills. While providing relevant information to different stakeholders and influence their behavior and attitudes, it is critical in what way different information, findings and recommendations are communicated as this affects the perceived impact and quality of the reforms.

About this learning event

This event will focus on key communication skills and tools that PAR and PFM professionals can use to deliver high-impact goals and activities. We will address several skills from listening, interviewing, negotiation, to providing feedback and reporting. As it is particularly important to develop confidence to use those skills in practice, we will offer a safe environment and numerous opportunities to deepen those skills.

This interactive workshop offers participants the opportunity to explore key strategies and tools for enhancing teamwork and fostering clear, open communication. Through hands-on activities and discussions, participants will strengthen their ability to work together efficiently and create a more cohesive team dynamic.  Through this workshop, you will learn and experience about:

  • Active Listening: Techniques to improve listening skills, including how to interpret nonverbal cues and provide feedback
  • Nonverbal Communication: Understanding body language, facial expressions, and gestures to enhance communication
  • Feedback and Criticism: Learning how to give and receive constructive feedback
  • Team Communication: Enhancing communication within teams to improve collaboration and productivity

Participants will work together in a dynamic and supportive environment, applying newly acquired skills to strengthen collaboration within their teams. A high level of involvement and active participation will ensure a meaningful and transformative learning experience.
