Launch of Training for Internal Auditors in Montenegrin Public Sector
The CEF Director, Jana Repanšek, and the German Ambassador in Slovenia, H.E. Klaus Riedel, signed a funding agreement for co-financing of the Training of Internal Auditors in Public Sector of Montenegro (TIAPS). This two and a half years project will be co-financed by Slovenia's Development Cooperation and in-kind support by the CEF, the Montenegrin Ministry of Finance and the Montenegrin Human Resources Management Authority.
This is the third project financed by the German Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Stability Pact Fund, and will support training of the fourth generation of public sector internal auditors in Montenegro. The project objectives are certification of up to 25 internal auditors, on the job training, attendance to professional networking events and sustainable hand over of the certification training to a local training institution.
At the occasion of signing the grant agreement, Ms. Repanšek and HE Riedel expressed mutual satisfaction with the so far cooperation and discussed opportunities for new joint initiatives.
