Launch of the LearnOrgLab Project: Supporting the National Bank of Moldova Become a Learning Organization
The National Bank of Moldova (NBM) and CEF have successfully launched the NBM LearnOrgLab project, aiming to transform the NBM into a learning organization over the course of three years. This project will focus on developing the individual, team, and institutional capacities of the NBM staff. The NBM leadership has acknowledged the significance of investing in the development of their employees' leadership and learning skills. By fostering a culture of continuous learning and developing the capacity of its staff, the NBM aims to enhance its potential for success and make significant progress towards achieving its strategic objectives.
Working closely with the NBM, we developed a project that focuses on developing a culture of knowledge sharing within the (NBM), promoting strong connections, and enabling the exchange of experiences among its staff members. Our approach involves actively involving NBM employees in the process of systematically scaling up their knowledge by capturing the specific expertise of NBM employees, packaging and storing it in a way that facilitates effective retrieval and sharing within and outside the institution. Through these efforts, the NBM will establish itself as a learning organization and foster collaborative relationships with other institutions in Moldova and the wider region.
The project opening took place on June 9, 2023, in Moldova and was attended by more than 400 NBM employees and project partners. The project is financially supported by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia, the Ministry of Finance of Slovenia, and the Constituency Program of the Ministry of Finance, The Netherlands. Additionally, it receives support from Banka Slovenije, Banque de France, and the National Bank of Romania.
