Knowledge-Sharing Session with the National Bank of Romania Generates High Interest
As part of our efforts to help public institutions in our constituency become learning organizations and build a knowledge-sharing culture, we continue to organize regular knowledge-sharing sessions. Our goal is to provide space where public officials can present and share experiences across topics of common interest. During such encounters, officials can meet their peers, generate new ideas, and get inspired for future actions.
Recently we were delighted to deliver an online knowledge-sharing session in close cooperation with the National Bank of Romania (NBR). The NBR is currently chairing the CEF Governing Board and has been an active partner and a member institution of the CEF. On the occasion, Mr. Şerban Matei, Director of the International Relations Department at the NBR, talked about the role of the international relations department in support of institutional partnerships. He put special emphasis on the inter-and intra-institutional information sharing and the international relations department's important role in analyzing and synthesizing information to support decision-making.
The event was well attended and received. Participants positively commented on the relevance of the presentation, opportunities to interact with Mr. Matei, and sharing of the NBR's experience regarding the policy coordination with the European banking system institutions. Received feedback confirms high interest and motivation to attend such sessions also in the future.
This online knowledge-sharing session took place on May 7, 2021.
