Just Published: Case Studies of Slovak Experience in Selected Public Sector Reforms
Being a regional knowledge hub, part of the CEF’s work relates also to capturing and packaging knowledge and experience through different types of digital knowledge products. In this context, we are happy to announce the release of three case studies:
- How to Institutionalize Spending Reviews
- Investment Planning and Evaluation
- Conducting Financial and Expenditure Analysis in the Public Sector of Slovakia
All case studies were prepared by experts working at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Slovakia and detail Slovak experience in recent and sound public finance reforms carried out in their country. The publications provide a thorough assessment of the current state of affairs in Slovakia, capture lessons learned, and also offer recommendations for further improvement.
We are confident that the Slovak experience outlined in these case studies will be considered as helpful guidance of future practices in addressed topics also in countries across SEE.
These case studies have been prepared in close co-operation with the Slovak Ministry of finance under the umbrella of the Strengthening Line Ministries’ Capacities to Assess Fiscal Implications of Structural Reforms – a Case for Moldova project. The project is funded by Slovak Ministry of Finance and implemented by the CEF.
