International Training of Internal Auditors of Public Sector Relaunched in Montenegro
The fourth iteration of the Training of Internal Auditors of Public Sector (TIAPS) in Montenegro was launched with the tutors' meeting on June 5, 2017 in Podgorica. Thirteen local professionals from the internal audit field of expertise and the local coordinators of the TIAPS program participated at the event.
At the meeting the CEF representatives Aleksandra Tekijaški and Jasmina Popović shared information with the tutors about the purpose and content of the project, introduced the teams of the CEF certification program and their roles, explained the obligations and duties of the training stakeholders, and presented the training schedule. In addition, the contracts between the CEF and the tutors were signed at the event.
This time, the TIAPS in Montenegro will run as a partially localized program that will enhance the role of the recipient institutions, the Montenegrin MoF Central Harmonization Unit, and the Montenegrin Human Resources Management Agency. The training graduates will be awarded CIPFA certificates and attend practical training and specialist networking events. The project is financed by the German Government Stability Pact Fund for South Eastern Europe, while the Ministry of Finance of Montenegro, the Montenegrin Human Resources Management Agency and the Center of Excellence in Finance will provide in-kind support to the program.
