Impact Assessment of Structural Reforms in North Macedonia
About this learning event
The CEF is supporting North Macedonia in the preparation of its Economic Reform Programme (ERP) 2025-2027 by building capacities to assess economic impact of reforms presented in the country’s Reform Agenda (RA). According to the ERP Guidance Note, it is important to quantify the economic impact of a selected number of reforms. The most effective approach would be to prioritize reforms with the greatest potential to drive national development, foster economic growth, and strong implementation feasibility.
In coordination with the Ministry of Finance, which coordinates the preparation of the ERP, we have scheduled a webinar, with the aim to select five key reforms that will move to the next phase, where their economic impact will be quantified.
The objective of the webinar is to provide ERP working group members from line ministries the opportunity to assess their respective reforms against the pre-defined criteria. Participants will engage in a discussion to determine the suitability of the five highest-scoring reforms for further economic impact quantification. The next phase, a workshop focusing on the quantification of the economic impact for the selected reforms, is scheduled to take place on November 12-13, 2024, in Skopje.
Who should attend
ERP Coordinators, ERP preparation working group members from Ministry of Finance and Line ministries covering reforms from the areas of Energy/Digital transition, Human capital and Privat sector/ Business environment.
