Enhancing Public Administration and Financial Management in Montenegro
In close cooperation with the Montenegrin Ministry of Public Administration and Ministry of Finance, we are delighted to announce the start of the EU-funded project “Support to Coordination, Monitoring and Reporting on Public Administration Reform Strategy and Public Financial Management Reform Programme 2022-2026”. The objective of this project is to improve citizens’ quality of life and economic growth by creating a well-functioning, digital, and accessible public administration.
During the implementation of this project, the CEF will offer support in monitoring, coordination, and reporting of the Public Administration Reform (PAR) Strategy and Public Financial Management (PFM) Reform Programme at all levels. This includes offering guidance and assistance in resolving key implementation challenges, especially where improved coordination among various institutions is essential, as well as supporting the harmonization of actions among various donors in the areas of PAR and PFM. Furthermore, it seeks to boost the internal visibility of these reforms.
Project activities will apply the CEF’s participatory approach to learning and highlight the critical importance of peer-to-peer learning. We will involve participants in all steps of the process including the design, delivery, and monitoring of the learning and knowledge sharing activities. In turn, this will help tailor the activities to their needs as much as possible and ensure their dedicated involvement and clear ownership.
