Closing Ceremony of the Training of Internal Auditors in Public Sector in Montenegro
Students that successfully concluded the Training of Internal Auditors in Public Sector (TIAPS) program were awarded with internationally recognized Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) certificates at the graduation ceremony in Podgorica, Montenegro. Graduation ceremony took place on November 21, 2019.
Students, on-the job training participants, tutors, project partners and donors attended the closing ceremony. Mr. Darko Radunović, Minister of finance of Montenegro and Ms. Jana Repanšek, Director of the Center of Excellence in Finance together with representatives of donors and other participating institutions greeted the participants.
The project was co-funded by the German Stability Pact Fund, the Slovenian International Development Cooperation, and supported by in-kind contributions from the Montenegrin Ministry of Finance, the Human resources Management Agency, and the CEF.
The project started in 2017 and supported training of the fourth generation of public sector internal auditors in Montenegro. The project objectives were training of internal auditors, on the job training, supporting attendance at professional networking events, and sustainable hand over of the certification training to a local training institution.
