CEF Winner of the Prize for the Best Annual Report by Slovenian Daily Finance
We are proud to report that the CEF won the first prize for the best Annual Report 2018 by Slovenian daily Finance. As an international organization the CEF won the prize in the category of other organizations. We are happy that the hard work and long preparations that go into the making of the CEF Annual Report resulted in a product that was recognized also by the jury of renowned experts chosen by daily Finance that awards the prize.
The main focus of this year's Annual Report was to highlight a chapter on "Knowledge hub". With it we wanted to highlight our role as an international educational institution, which aims to make a visible contribution to the advancement of various aspects and levels of operations of public financial institutions in South East Europe. This is achieved not only through education activities in different expert thematic areas but also by empowering individuals and institutions to transfer knowledge inside their institutions, among different countries and with the CEF acting as platform for that.
In our annual report we focus not only on the business aspect of our operations but also on our mission. We showcase the results of our activities aimed at capacity development of public officials working at the Ministries of Finance, Tax Administrations, Central Banks and Finance Departments of line ministries and other public institutions in South East Europe through success stories that they share with us. Statements of expert lecturers and partners that cooperate with us in preparation of our learning program additionally showcase the relevance of our learning program and the activities that we implement.
Making of our annual report is a relatively time-consuming process. Periodically we refresh the structure of the report always keeping in mind that it has to clearly showcase the purpose of our activities and the results of our work as we are aware that the annual report is also one of the most important communication and promotional products of our organization. It takes a good deal of coordination between the different content providers to ultimately make the report. In addition to the content side, we place great emphasis on the visual image of the annual report, so the selection of pictorial material and graphic elements is a very important part of the process that we build together with an external designer.
This recognition is additional motivation for excellent work also in the future.
