We Attended learn4Dev Annual Meeting at ITC ILO
CEF actively participated in the learn4Dev Annual Meeting which took place in Turin, Italy, from May 28 to 30, 2018. The theme of the three day gathering was ''Potential Futures of Learning for Development.'' CEF took the opportunity to further discuss establishing knowledge hubs, shared experiences and ideas on how to facilitate self-directed learning, and strengthen learning in the learn4Dev network.
Learning for Developement (learn4Dev) is an international network of development organizations from different backgrounds and the CEF plays an important role as a contributor of good practices in learning and knowledge sharing within different expert groups (Public financial management, Learning innovations, Organizational learning, and Knowledge management and sharing). This collaboration also brings an opportunity to exchange experience with various partners and stakeholders who work towards achieving Sustainable Developement Goals (SDGs), and to strengthen partnerships.
The 2018 Annual Meeting served as an opportunity not only to strengthen connection within the network but also as the main floor to create future potential learning scenarios with new partners and stakeholders. Divided in different groups according to specific topics or common areas of interest, we brainstormed and came up with potential joint future initiatives and ideas to support implementation of SDGs. CEF took the opportunity to further discuss establishing knowledge hubs, shared experiences and ideas on how to facilitate self-directed learning, and strengthen learning in learn4Dev network.
The organizing team collected the conclusions from the meeting in this digital story, where you can join in and get inspired too.
The next Annual Meeting will be held in Bonn, Germany, and hosted by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
