CEF Advisory Board Met at its Annual Meeting
We were happy to connect with our Advisory Board members to present them our work program for the coming year, its focus, and its direction. At the meeting, we explained how our 2023 program is aligned with our 2022-2026 Strategic Direction. We appreciated receiving Advisory Board members’ recommendations for further strengthening its strategic alignment. We will incorporate this constructive feedback in our future programming efforts.
We also discussed possible arrangements for promoting the recognition and sharing of knowledge, supporting public institutions’ talent management and retention, and engaging officials in co-creating and co-delivering the CEF program.
We would like to acknowledge strong and sound cooperation with members of the Advisory Board and their respective institutions. They are involved in the CEF’s program implementation, governance activities, and other areas of collaboration throughout the year, not only at the annual meetings.
The meeting was chaired by Ms. Mateja Vraničar Erman from the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Ms. Vraničar succeeded Ms. Andreja Jerina, after she retired in January 2022. In addition to Ms. Vraničar also Angelique van Haasteren from the Dutch Ministry of Finance, Sierd Hadley from the Overseas Development Institute (ODI), Luc Stevens from the National Bank of Belgium, Marianna Macášková from the Slovak Ministry of Finance, and Birger Nerré from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) contributed to the outcomes of the meeting’s discussions.
The meeting took place on October 6, 2022.
