Albania is a New CEF Member
Albania is the newest member of the CEF, joining Bulgaria, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania and Slovenia. As a new international organization, ratification procedures to join the CEF membership are still ongoing in a few countries.
The Ministry of Finance and Bank of Albania have supported the CEF since we were established by the Slovenian government in 2001. Since then, more than 700 public officials from Albania were trained by the CEF.
Mr. Erjon Luҫi, deputy minister of finance of Albania, talks about the significance of being a member of the CEF, specifically with regard to challenges the Western Balkans countries have to address in public financial management matters on their way to the EU integrations.
