Accounting Workshops
The focus of our accounting activities in 2022 is to promote regional cooperation in overcoming common challenges in the accrual reform and adoption of international accounting standards. Learning activities will support development and recognition of accounting profession by strengthening their role to support preparation and delivery of reforms, to fight against fraud and corruption, to contribute to better management of publicly owned assets and to cooperate with other professions in implementing public sector reforms. We will also explore why accounting matters from a central banking perspective, by focusing on accounting and financial reporting framework.
Together with the Chartered Institute of Public Accountancy (CIPFA) we will continue offering a platform for exchanging expert knowledge, experience, best practices, and recommendations to public sector accountants and auditors at our joint annual international conference.
