Tax Academies
About this learning event
The workshop aims to support tax institutions in relevant countries in setting up tax academies. Participants will analyze how to establish tax academies by examining successful models from developed EU countries, such as the Financial Academy of the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia, and compare them with current regional methods. They will discuss which techniques and tools to use to provide education on tax and public finance to public officials and the general public.Furthermore, the workshop will explore alternative methods to traditional tax academies. This includes examining innovative approaches and digital tools that can enhance tax education and public finance training. By considering these alternatives, participants will be equipped with a diverse set of strategies to implement in their respective countries, ensuring a more flexible and adaptive approach to tax education.
In addition, participants will have the opportunity to share their own experiences and insights. This exchange of knowledge will foster a collaborative environment where attendees can learn from each other's successes and challenges. By discussing real-world applications and case studies, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the practical aspects of establishing and running tax academies.
