Building a Performing Team by Developing Our Relationships
About this learning event
It is not because we work together that we are a team!
To be a performing team, we need members who seek and cultivate trust, solidarity, and a real desire to reach common goals. To do so, building strong relationships within the team is a key factor of success. Teams do not fail because of a poor strategy or a lack of technical competencies but because of their inability to work together efficiently. Working together means feeling safe inside the team, being able to confront our views, not being afraid to open up, taking ownership of our tasks, and being accountable to one another without fear. Such teams always find solutions and ways to reach their targets!
Through this workshop, you will:
- reflect on the kind of team member you are,
- learn more about the behaviors you could adopt,
- be invited to open up to your peers/teammates,
- learn and practice giving and receiving feedback,
- learn more about your colleagues, their feelings, needs, and expectations,
- take concrete decisions for a better functioning of that team,
- be better equipped to build your own performing team.
In this workshop, you will be invited to act as a team. It is mainly based on practice through exercises, games, sharing, co-development, and team coaching. Some reminders on certain key tools and techniques will be there to enhance and support your personal and managerial development in communication and human relations management.
This workshop requires a high level of involvement and active participation.
