On-site Supervision
About this learning event
At this event, we will explore on-site supervision from both organizational and practical supervisory perspectives. Participants will learn techniques and enhance their skills for effectively planning, organizing, and conducting on-site missions, as well as presenting their findings. Through case studies and group work, participants will cover the following: - On-site inspections framework, - Planning and developing the scope of on-site inspections, - Practical organization of on-site inspections, - Examples of in-depth investigations of various risks, and - On-site methodology. We will also address the supervision of financial institutions in the context of contemporary risks, including climate and environmental risks. The workshop will be tailored to accommodate different sectors, ensuring that all supervisors receive relevant and practical insights specific to their area of supervision.
Who should attend
This course is designed for officials of banking regulation and supervision departments of central banks and financial supervisory authorities. Supervisors of non-bank financial institutions are also welcome to join.
