Multi-stakeholder Conference

About this learning event

Achieving climate neutrality is a substantial task that demands collective effort. Ministries of finance and related line ministries have significant leverage for accelerating climate action but they cannot act alone. As central institutions in the government, they are responsible for coordinating economic, fiscal, and financial policymaking. Strengthening their role in climate-related policymaking is essential while also including a wider range of stakeholders. This conference will bring together climate change agents on local, national, and regional levels along with representatives from non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and academia, to discuss joint efforts for coordinated climate action.

Who should attend

This conference is intended for officials working at ministries of finance and line ministries such as the ministry of environment, and public administration, local authorities, and BRS community.
