Reporting on the Qualitative and Quantitative Steps and Annual Reporting on the Reform Agendas
About this learning event
Monitoring the implementation of structural reforms is essential for their successful implementation. At this event, participating countries will share their experience with reporting on the implementation of qualitative and quantitative steps of their Reform Agendas, as done at the end of 2024 when submitting payment requests to the European Commission (EC). We will focus on peer learning, where participants will share their experiences and challenges, they had with reporting sheets and inter-institutional coordination. We will also highlight good practices by showcasing the reporting experiences of EU member states, such as Slovenia and Croatia, in relation to their Reform Agenda reporting. The role of statistical offices in securing accurate reporting data will be emphasized. Additionally, we will address regular progress reports, prepared for the EC, the government, and other relevant stakeholders. Participants will share their experiences with the established systems for reporting to the government. As progress reporting for the EC is about to begin, we will also address how to include explanations of the indicators in the narrative, particularly for those planned but not achieved.
