About this learning event

Building on over two decades of partnership, the 2025 CEF-CIPFA conference will be the fifth joint public finance conference hosted by the two organizations in southeast Europe. Our shared aim for this annual event is to bring together an interdisciplinary mix of public sector professionals to encourage and facilitate improved knowledge sharing, and more importantly understanding, of contemporary PFM challenges. This event is an important part of wider advocacy efforts to support stronger public finances, and by extent, public services. Topics will focus on issues like: engaging civil society with public finance; changing levels of public trust in Europe; PFM basics for non-finance professionals; how strong PFM has/could have improved public outcomes/value for money etc.
