WeLearn: Innovations and Service Delivery in Public Sector
About this learning event
The "Innovations and Service Delivery in the Public Sector" course is designed to provide participants with the skills, knowledge, and mindset needed to drive innovation and improve service delivery within the public sector. As the public sector faces growing challenges in meeting citizens' evolving needs, this workshop emphasises the role of leadership and innovative thinking in creating impactful change.
Throughout the course, a combination of online and face-to-face workshop, participants will explore the importance of moving beyond outdated structures and fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement. They will also examine when innovation is essential and when valuable insights can be drawn from lessons learned in past initiatives. Participants will gain practical insights into navigating complex government systems, managing change, and developing solutions that enhance public services. Special emphasis will be placed on creating public value by encouraging participants to reconsider traditional power dynamics and adopt collaborative, inclusive approaches to problem-solving.
Through interactive exercises and discussions, attendees will build skills in designing and implementing innovative policies, utilising tools and frameworks that support impact.
