About this workshop

The goal of this workshop is to provide support to hosting country in implementing its tax education programs. The proposed workshop will focus on building capacities of ministries of finance and tax administrations on how to effectively raise awareness  on taxes’ importance, explaining about tax policies and reforms for the public, with the ultimate aim to boost tax morale. Within this, participants will discuss ways to communicate and find the most effective approaches to the public. 

Who should attend

Representatives from Ministry of Finance and Tax Administration from Croatia are invited. We are targeting officials, who oversee tax literacy and education programs in their institutions (departments for Coordination, Education, Information, Legal Affairs, Misdemeanor Proceedings, and Cooperation with Taxpayers).

Practical information

Travel and accommodation costs for official from Ministry of Finance and Tax Administration of Croatia will be covered by the Ministry of Finance of the Netherlands and the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic.
