Human Resources Management: Decision-Making Process in Risk Management
About this learning event
Given the current unstable global situation, compliance risks and tax administrations’ ability to manage them effectively have been significantly affected. The workshop will address tax administrations’ capacity to implement a contemporary compliance risk management (CRM) methodology. This methodology helps tax administrations mitigate major compliance risks, which make up the bulk of their respective country's tax gaps.
During the three days, the participants will be introduced to various facets of human resources management intertwined with CRM implementation.
Day one will feature insights from the Netherlands Tax Administration, providing valuable perspectives on execution and enforcement strategies, as well as an introduction to CRM challenges.
Day two will delve into the intricacies of decision-making processes. Topics will include understanding diverse perspectives, effective communication models, change management strategies, and adaptive leadership styles.
The final day will offer practical modules focusing on team management practices for efficient decision-making, including team forming practices, embracing diversity, and measuring progress within teams.
Throughout the program, the participants will thus focus on merging the theoretical approaches with soft skills, which can contribute significantly to decision-making in risk management and improve the overall effectiveness of tax administrations.
