About this learning event

This webinar will be organized as part of the “WeLead: EU scheme for Young Professionals in the Western Balkans” project with the purpose of raising awareness of the strategic development of human resources and talent retention, particularly of young public officials. It is crucial for public institutions to invest in their human capital, with a specific focus on retaining talents. Strategic human resource development implies also smarter engagement of young public officials through appropriate organizational culture, learning and knowledge ecosystems that can accelerate the delivery of institutions’ mandates. To effectively address brain drain, it is critical to strengthen the human resource function by developing capabilities for effective human and institutional knowledge management. Young public officials should have a meaningful and visible role in their institutions, while public institutions should create an environment where young officials can unlock and realize their potential.
