Charting a Greener Horizon: Navigating Towards Sustainable Public Finances
The 2024 conference, "Charting a Greener Horizon: Navigating Towards Sustainable Public Finances," continues the partnership between the CEF and CIPFA. Funded by Slovenia’s Ministry of Environment, Climate and Energy and the Climate Change Fund, the event gathers public officials, policymakers, and PFM experts to discuss finance, sustainability, and climate change. The conference raises awareness about non-financial reporting, explores how financial controls can adapt to sustainability needs, and promotes policies for sustainable economies. Participants engage in discussions and case studies to address climate risks and align with the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans and the European Green Deal. The program includes presentations, panel discussions, and networking opportunities for cross-sector collaboration.
