Cyber Risks of Remote Work During the COVID-19 Pandemic
The CEF and the IMF's Monetary and Capital Markets (MCM) department invite you to an online round-table discussion, including question and answer session with attendees. The event will be delivered at 14:00-15:30 CET.
About the event
As a consequence of the pandemic, public sector as well as financial sector firms moved to teleworking. More people are now using remote access to information systems and data. New and more cyber attacks are expected to emerge. This calls for additional review of security measures.
At this webinar, we will devote special attention to cyber risks that stem from remote access. We will discuss sources of vulnerabilities and recommended preventive measures for preserving of cyber resilience. Furthermore, we will hear from some regional cases and experience.
The webinar in a form of a round table discussion, where we envisage interaction and active participant engagement.
Who should attend
The webinar is designed for employees from banking and financial sector supervision authorities. It is intended for IT experts, IT auditors, and those supervising implemented cyber security measures. We believe other institutions will also benefit from this event.
Ahead of the round-table discussion, we encourage you to look into the attached MCM note and MCM Guidelines in the subject.
Specific questions on the topic are collected in advance. Please send them to the CEF facilitator of the event - Matija Čarman.
