Building Capacities for Policy Design and Implementation

The workshop is a follow-up to the seminar Economic Stability and EU Convergence in Southeast Europe: Building Capacities for Policy Design and Implementation held in April 2009 in Washington at the margins of the IMF and the World Bank Spring Meetings. At the seminar senior country officials, together with regional experts, IMF, European Commission and CEF representatives discussed the main priorities and challenges in terms of designing a framework to further improve policy design and implementation capacity over the short to medium-term.
