Annual Meeting of the Governing Board
The Governing Board of the CEF convened for their annual meeting at the CEF on June 1, 2017. The Board confirmed the annual report of the CEF for 2016 and reviewed some other governance and program topics. The Governing Board also appointed the new director of the CEF, current deputy director Ms. Jana Repanšek, who will start her five-year term on July 1. Ms. Jana Repanšek will succeed Ms. Mira Dobovišek, the longstanding director of the CEF, who is retiring this summer.
Mr. Dimitar Bogov governor of the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia, took over the rotating chairmanship of the CEF Governing Board from Bulgarian minister of finance, Mr. Valdislav Goranov.
Members of the Governing Board are ministers of finance and central bank governors of the CEF member countries (Albania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania and Slovenia). Members of the Governing Board are also three representatives of the Advisory Board (Ministry of Finance of the Netherlands, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia, National Bank of Belgium).
