In Macedonia the training of internal auditors in the public sector continues. With the introductory workshop and test the season 2015/16 will be opened at the begining of September for the fourth group of internal auditors at the first - certificate level of training.

During the course of the training Macedonian officials will study international internal audit standards and best practices according to the curricula developed by the British Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA). The students will be assisted by local tutors, trained during the previous iterations of the TIAPS program in Macedonia. All related learning materials are already translated from English to Macedonian.

This professional qualification program is jointly funded by the United States of America and the Republic of Slovenia. Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Macedonia and the CEF offer to the program in-kind support. The CIPFA developed materials and it will award international certificates to successful students.
