The coordinators proposed changes in the governance structure using existing working groups and upgrading them into four stakeholder platforms, each supported by the advisory committee. They are Capacity Building Platform for the Danube Region (DR), Danube Local Actors Platform, Urban Platform DR and Financing and Investment Platform. As the meeting was hosted by the Representation of Baden-Württemberg to the EU in Brussels that will become the Danube Strategy Point in 2015, the participants also learned about the changes in the governance on the strategy level.
Representatives of DG Regio briefed us on the status of the new Danube Transnational program and the urban dimension of EU policies. The participants learned more about the June Annual Forum of the EUSDR and Priority Area 10 contributions and the 2015 Annual Forum that will be take place in October 2015 in Ulm.
