This priority area has been active in setting up the civil society and urban platforms that are about to be launched. As a side event to the 3rd Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region, the regions, cities and civil society organizations will meet at a Participation Day on June 25 in Eisenstadt. With four workshops on institutional capacity and civil society topics, the Priority Area 10 will also be very engaged at the 3rd Annual Forum in Vienna (June 26 – 27).
The Priority Area Coordinators presented the outcome of the second call of the Technical Assistance Facility for the Danube Region and preparations for the Seed Money Facility that will be launched in autumn. The members of the Steering Groups also touched upon financing and governance issues of the Danube strategy.
