CEF Taking Part in the Shining Stars of Europe Contest

CEF participates in a contest Shining Stars of Europe with a video on the Power of Knowledge Exchange created by Kaja Jurtela, CEF Program Facilitator and Aleksander Nadj, CEF IT Officer. The video expresses an idea of creating symbiosis in development cooperation that is similar to symbiosis that exists in nature.

Shining Stars of Europe is organized under the umbrella of the 2015 European Year for Development and encourages young people to creatively present what it means to them and what they believe should be the international development cooperation in the future. Year 2015 represents a new cornerstone in development cooperation as this year new development agenda, represented by the adoption of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), has been introduced for the next 15 years.

The CEF as one of the implementing channels of Slovenia’s international development cooperation with its program actively contributes to sustainable capacity development and reforms in the field of public financial management and central banking in the region of South East Europe.
