CEF at the 3rd Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region

The EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) is well in its third year of implementation. This year’s topic of the Annual Forum of the EUSDR that took place in Vienna from June 26–27 was governance and social inclusion. The Priority Area 10 of the EUSDR, coordinated by the CEF and City of Vienna, contributed to the Forum’s program in the Danube Cosmos section dedicated to workshops, presentations and showcases of topics connected to the implementation of the strategy.

The Priority Area 10 tasked with stepping up institutional capacity and cooperation was actively involved in five workshops dealing with institutional capacities of public administration, e-governance, urban platform, civil society and Roma inclusion.

This was most attended Annual Forum of the EUSDR so far with many meetings and side events. Among them were also the 1st Participation Day gathering civil society stakeholders of the EUSDR and meeting on migration management on local level in Danube region countries. Both events were joint efforts of the Priority Area 10 and Priority Area 9 dealing with people and skills.

4th Annual Forum of the EUSDR will be in Ulm in autumn of 2015.
